Who Decides What a Bogus Cancer Cure Is? FTC Investigators Do. - stories of it Being Against the Law to tell the Truth.

It is your Body.. But it is NOT your Choice.

Bogus Cures out to Deceive You.. could this be true? No I am not talking about Prescription Drugs and No I am not talking about the Clip on the news a couple of weeks ago that said the Doctor gives a Placebo 50% of the Time (though this is bogus.. it is not what i am talking about) I am Talking about the Claims by the FTC on who is offering you Bogus Cures.
Many of your friends and neighbors may have cured themselves with Cancer Cures, Natural Cancer Cures. But the FTC is who says what Cancer Cures are Bogus. I guess Bogus is a Scientific Word used to mean that these Cures that People have Actually Used to Save their Lives are NOT true. Kind of Like seeing an Elephant in Your Yard, but if the FTC says that it is Not there then it is NOT there. You may have Cured yourself of Cancer, but if the FTC says it is NOT True then it is NOT true and they will Fine you, Arrest You.
The FTC Sent me an Email today, Warning me to NOT talk to you about Cancer Cures. This was in Regard to Black Salve. So apparently this is a BOGUS cure. I thank GOD everyday for Black Salve. I encourage you to learn everything you can and if your neighbor who was told by Cancer Doctors they had a month to live, if they CURE themselves with black salve to the amazement of the Cancer Doctors who lied to them, then you call or email the FTC, for this is a False Claim. You MUST obey the law, and tell you neighbor that what really cured them was Spontaneous Remission. It just happened, the fact that Black Salve accidently dumped onto your breast had NOTHING to do with your Cure.
Plug your ears when those with HUGE tumors tell you that they made it go away and are now cancer free because of black salve, if a thousand people tell you this.. STILL you must Ignore it, until you here it as being the Truth from the FTC… they are the only ones who really know the TRUTH about Cancer Cures.

In September of 2008 the LAWS got even scarier, you DO not Own your OWN health. You are NOT allowed to KNOW the Truth about Your Health.

Bogus, is a Very Intelligent Word isn’t it. Non-Effective, Cancer Cures that Don’t Really Work, People who Wish to Deliberately Harm and Deceive You, … these are more like words that you would expect FTC Investigators to Use – but Bogus is the Word. So Consumers, Victims of Cancer Doctors is that Bogus? Are Placebos Bogus or are they Hocus Pocus?

Have You Read the Kevin Trudeau Books, he tells stories of How the FTC has harassed him for telling you folks the truth about ways you can cure yourself naturally. They want to Keep the Right to Continue to Radiate You, Cut off your Breasts – Your Body Parts – they want you to Stay in the Dark about your own health

What is “competent and reliable scientific evidence” – the FTC Claims that you must have this in order to talk about cancer cures on your websites. The thing is if you know people who have been cured, read story after story and you know that this stuff works why does the FTC need scientific Evidence? They need it because they control the industry, and that is what your cancer is, it is an industry.

Your Life, you being tortured – cut on – burned – radiated and then to die anyway because of their TOTALLY unproven cures that is what the Industry Stands Behind and the Industry owns the FTC.

I had heard that People Were Scared to Talk about Cures they have used. Scared of What I ask, then I read about the Maker of Essiac Tea – Rene Caise, I ready about Harry Hoxsey and modern Alternative Medicine Writers and Advocates such as Kevin Trudeau who have been Harrassed by the FTC when all they are doing is trying to bring you a gentle natural cure that has been around as long as man. The FTC does not want you to know the TRUTH .. why.. is your body being tortured by Cancer Doctors really what the FTC wants? They Say America is a Free Country? What? You are not even allowed to know the truth about your health so Billionaires can Stay Billionaires.

Though Cancer Doctors Flat Out Lie to You,
the FTC Does NOT want you to know the Truth, they go to Great Lengths

They accuse me of Deceptive Advertising Claims but won’t tell me what site they are talking about. I am left to assume that me telling you folks of Cancer Cures – Cures that Do Not involve a Cancer Doctor is Illegal. Please Read the Kevin Trudeau Books. Please Share the Following Links, and information with everyone you know. Those who say they are watching out for your health are not.

Those who wish to help you get well are CONSTANTLY harassed, those performing dendritic cell therapy and other cancer cures are NOT allowed to help you. Though once Big Pharma Figures out how to control dendritic cell therapy you will be offered a version of it for a HUGE price increase from what folks offer it currently for.

Dr. Mercola shares wonderful information to Save your Life, the ftc Cancer@FTC.gov harass him, the FTC does not want you to know things like the Sun Is Really Good for You. http://v.mercola.com/blogs/public_blog/Shocking-Insider-Revelation----This-Cancer-Drug-CAUSES-Cancer-39239.aspx

FTC Sweep Stops Peddlers of Bogus Cancer Cures
Public Education Campaign Counsels Consumers, “Talk to Your Doctor”

The Federal Trade Commission today announced 11 law enforcement actions challenging deceptive advertising of bogus cancer cures. The FTC charged the companies with making unsupported claims that their products cured or treated one or more types of cancer. In each case, the company is charged with violating the FTC Act, which bars deceptive claims. Some complaints allege that the companies also falsely touted clinical or scientific proof for their products.

“There is no credible scientific evidence that any of the products marketed by these companies can prevent, cure, or treat cancer of any kind,” said Lydia Parnes, Director of the FTC’s Bureau of Consumer Protection.

Of the 11 complaints the FTC announced today, six have been resolved by proposed settlements; the rest will be litigated. In all cases, the companies will be required to notify consumers who purchased the products challenged in the complaints that there was little or no scientific evidence demonstrating the products’ effectiveness for treating or curing cancer. They also must urge these customers to consult with their doctors about the products. In addition, the companies will be prohibited from selling or disclosing their consumer lists to others. The products the companies marketed include essiac teas and other herbal mixtures, laetrile, black salve (a corrosive ointment), and mushroom extracts.
“Many of these products are scams,” Parnes said, “and let’s face it, when you’re battling cancer, the last thing you need is a scam. The best idea is to talk to your doctor about any treatment that you are thinking about taking.” The FTC also announced a new Web site about bogus cancer cures. The site – www.ftc.gov/curious tells consumers how to spot and report bogus claims they see online, and urges people with cancer to talk to their treatment team about any products they’d like to try. The site features a video and includes a list of resources on cancer treatments from a variety of agencies within the federal government.
Information is provided in English and Spanish. The cases announced today began through an Internet surf conducted by the FTC, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), and Competition Bureau Canada in June 2007. Following the surf, the FTC sent warning letters via e-mail to 112 Web sites between August 2007 and January 2008. Of these, nearly 30 percent either closed their sites or removed the problematic cancer treatment claims.
The remainder were reviewed to determine whether a law enforcement action was warranted or whether they should be referred to the FDA or the Competition Bureau.
The FDA sent warning letters to 23 U.S. companies and two foreign individuals. The warning letters stated that because the marketed products claimed to cure, treat, mitigate, or prevent cancer, and because they are not proven to be safe and effective for their labeled use, they are unapproved new drugs marketed in violation of the federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act. The Competition Bureau sent warning letters to Canadian companies that were selling fraudulent cancer cures online. Almost all the companies have adequately corrected their marketing materials, and the bureau will take additional enforcement actions to ensure compliance by the rest. Administrative Cases. The FTC sued five companies. The cases will be tried before an administrative law judge at the Commission. In each case, the Commission seeks an order prohibiting the respondents from representing that their products prevent, treat, or cure any type of cancer unless the representation is true, non-misleading, and supported by competent and reliable scientific evidence. The FTC also will seek orders prohibiting the respondents from making representations about any health-related products without competent and reliable scientific evidence.

Alexander Heckman d/b/a Omega Supply – Among the products this company marketed are laetrile, which can cause cyanide poisoning when taken orally at high doses; hydrazine sulphate, which is classified by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services as a potential carcinogen; and cloracesium, which contains celsium chloride. According to the complaint, in addition to making deceptive and false claims that these products are safe and that they effectively prevent, treat, and cure cancer, the respondents also made false claims that the products are scientifically proven to work.

Native Essence Herb Company – The products marketed by this company include herbal concoctions (Rene Caisse essiac tea blend and cat’s claw), the herb chaparral, and maitake mushrooms extracts. In 1992, the FDA classified chaparral as unsafe because of its “association with acute toxic hepatitis.” According to the complaint, the respondents made deceptive and false claims that these products are effective for treating and curing a variety of cancers, eliminating or shrinking tumors, and for preventing breast cancer.

Daniel Chapter One – This company markets several herbal formulations as well as shark cartilage. According to the complaint, in addition to making deceptive and false claims that these products effectively prevent, treat, and cure cancer, the respondents also claim that one of their herbal formulations mitigates the side effects of radiation and chemotherapy. In addition to the FTC action announced today, this company received a warning letter from FDA. Gemtronics, Inc. – This company markets a product called RAAX11, which is made of chrysobalanus icaco, a derivative from a tropical bush, and agaricus, a medicinal mushroom. According to the complaint, in addition to making deceptive and false claims that these products effectively prevent, treat, and cure cancer, the respondents also made false claims that these products were scientifically proven to work. In addition to the FTC action announced today, this company received a warning letter from FDA.

Mary T. Spohn d/b/a Herbs for Cancer – Spohn sold Chinese herbal teas in varying formulations. According to the company’s advertisements, these teas were formulated to fight 16 different types of cancer. A seventeenth type [of blended tea] is represented as a “special formula” for “cancers not on our list.” According to the complaint, in addition to making deceptive and false claims that these formulations effectively treat and cure cancer, the respondents also claim that some of them are scientifically proven to work. In addition to the FTC action announced today, this company received a warning letter from FDA.
Proposed Settlements. The defendants and respondents in the six proposed settlement cases are barred from representing that their products prevent, treat, or cure any type of cancer unless the representation is true, non-misleading, and supported by competent and reliable scientific evidence. They also are barred from making representations about any other health-related products without competent and scientific evidence. Each proposed settlement also contains various monitoring, recordkeeping, and reporting provisions to ensure compliance.

Three of the proposed settlements will be filed in federal district court:
Nu-Gen Nutrition, Inc. – The defendants marketed cantron, an electrolyte liquid, and apricot seeds containing laetrile as treatments and cures for various types of cancer. Based on the amount of sales of these products, the company and its principal have agreed to pay a judgment of $830,434, all but $246,000 of which is suspended based on the defendants’ inability to pay. If it is determined that the financial information given to the FTC was untruthful, then the full amount of the judgement will become automatically due. This case was filed today in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, Eastern Division.
This company also received a warning letter from FDA. Westberry Enterprises, Inc. – Claiming that their products could treat and cure various types of cancer, the defendants marketed herbal tea containing burdock root, sheep sorrel, slippery elm bark, and Turkish rhubarb root; melatonin; a woody vine found in the jungles of Latin America that is known as cat’s claw; saltwater blue-green algae; and a mixture of roots, leaves, and barks from various plants. Based on the amount of sales of these products, thecompany and its principal have agreed to pay a judgment of $225,000; all but $15,000 of which is suspended based on the defendants’ inability to pay. If it is determined that the financialinformation given to the FTC was untruthful, then the full amount of the judgement will become automatically due.
This case was filed today in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Louisiana, Alexandria Division.
This company also received a warning letter from FDA.
Jim Clark’s All Natural Cancer Therapy – Claiming that their metabolic therapy products could prevent, treat, and cure various types of cancer, the defendants marketed laetrile, apricot seeds, digestive enzymes, okra-pepsin-E3, and coral calcium. The two individual defendants – James Franklin Clark and Carrie Ann Hatcher – have agreed to pay separate amounts. Clark has agreed to pay $353,702, all but $25,000 of which was suspended because of his inability to pay. Hatcher has agreed to pay $207,676, all of which was suspended because of her inability to pay. If it is determined that the financial information provided to the FTC was untruthful, then the full amount of the judgments will become automatically due. This case was filed today in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Kentucky.

The FTC has issued administrative complaints for the remaining proposed settlement cases, which involved smaller sales volumes than the federal district court settlements.
Violating an administrative order can result in a civil penalty of up to $11,000 per violation.
Bioque Technologies, Inc. – The respondents marketed an extract from the soursop or guanabana tropical fruit tree and claimed in their advertisements that it could prevent and treat melanoma. They also represented that the product, called Serum GV, was clinically proven to do these things. Under the proposed agreement, the respondents are required to pay the full amount of Serum GV sales, $9,035.85, in consumer redress.

Holly A. Bacon d/b/a Cleansing Time Pro – The respondent marketed a corrosive product called black salve, in both ointment and tablet form. Black salve has been reported to cause severe burns and permanent scarring at high concentrations. Claiming in advertisements that either formulation could prevent, treat, and cure various types of cancer, individual respondent Holly A. Bacon represented herself as a satisfied user of the product without disclosing that she was the owner of the company. She also represented that black salve was effective at preventing, treating, and curing numerous viral infections, including HIV, SARS, and Avian Flu.

Premium-essiac-tea-4less The respondent marketed an herbal remedy known as essiac tea. According to the complaint, the respondents’ advertisements recommended “a daily intake based on whether the consumer is well, sick with cancer or another disease, trying to prevent a relapse of cancer or another disease, or currently undergoing chemotherapy or radiation.” The FTC complaint challenged the respondent’s claim that its essiac tea product was an effective treatment for cancer, AIDS, ulcers, hepatitis C; and many other diseases.
The Commission vote authorizing the issuance or filing of the 11 complaints and agreed-upon final orders was 4-0. The three federal district court proposed settlements were filed on September 18, 2008.

NOTE: The Commission files a complaint when it has “reason to believe” that the law has been or is being violated, and it appears to the Commission that a proceeding is in the public interest. The complaint is not a finding or ruling that the defendant or respondent has actually violated the law. The stipulated final order is for settlement purposes only and does not constitute an admission by the defendants of a law violation. A stipulated final order requires approval by the court and has the force of law when signed by the judge.

The administrative consent orders will be subject to public comment for 30 days, beginning today and continuing through October 17, 2008, after which the Commission will consider whether to make them final. Comments should be sent to: FTC Office of the Secretary, 600 Pennsylvania Ave., N.W., Washington, DC 20580.

Cases after Cases of the FTC going after these people, WHY? To me, it does not seem like the FTC goes after the Cancer Doctors who Lie, they don’t seem to punish those who make drugs that inevitable get some sort of class action lawsuit because the drug was set out to the public with

And what about those Stories, myths of course, of Doctors who get kickback from big drug companies for Pushing their drugs, or Drug adds telling you to ask your doctor, as if you 4 years old and the drug is “Sweet Cereal” and they want you to get your parents to buy it for you. Commercials Pushing Drugs, where is the FTC on this. People on 12 to 20 different prescriptions, where is the FTC on this?

But if you Claim Goji is a Cure for Cancer ( Which of Course GOJI has NOTHING all to do with any kind of cancer cure) then you are persecuted by those who say they are protecting you. It is a Flat Out Lie, in my Opinion. I have read – over 20 years – endless amounts of information on cancer cures… so many liars out there.. hmmm Guess I will IGNORE them all and believe the one agency that is really out to protect me, the FTC.

It is Claimed to Be in the Best Interest of Consumer Protection. To me it seems like those honestly trying to sell you a product that will help you are Punished for it.

The FTC seems to want you to make your money by selling Big Pharm drugs, such as become a Doctor or Pharmicist and Give out Drugs for a Living. Sure beats selling herbs and telling the truth about what they are good for.

My Opinion, as a NON Doctor ( Thank Goodness ) is that is Someone that the FTC thinks they want to Protect you From is Quite Possibly someone you should take a real hard look at because they may have something that threatens, somehow the business of the FTC – the Big Drug Companies. No One Wants you to Know that you Can Cure your Cancer. Millions have since the beginning of time. I mean, the Indians had cancer, historical data says they cured it with Black Salve, Cancer Salves made from a Natural Root, but if you make that salve and make that claim then the FTC will Get Ya... You Are Not In Charge of your Own Health Decisions. the Law will Tell you What Cures Cancer and Scientific Proof is
not really proof - to me - in my personal and unprofessional opinion Scientific Proof is
someones version of reality and Proof to Sell YOU a Drug and to keep you down.

Some Information and Scientific Reports talk about Cesium, for example being able to know out, to cure your cancer, but your not allowed to say that .. you don’t want the Truth to Get Out. If you can Really Cure Cancer for under a $100 then where would those billions dollars have to come from to keep the big drug companies and the FTC in Business. 2 mammograms and a biopsy cost $10,000 and there are REPORTS that say that mammograms cause cancer.. Reports that say that Biopsies spread cancer, but you THOSE living with cancer and looking for Gentle – Effective – Reasonable Answers are NOT allowed to know the Truth.
Many Know Information that Can Make your Life Better, but the Country that I love, the Country I Thought I was Free in, They SHUT these People up and they are Afraid to Tell you What Could Save your Life and make your Quality of life BETTER... People say "THEY" are watching you. Of course "They" are .. always have been. We have never truly been free, our phones have been tapped, this infamous they look at your computer, THEY know what your doing and say at all times, the have satelites and numbers that track you.. this is a Given.. and So be it. This is the World we live in.
They Keep us Down, we Live here.. that's the way it is... You, however, you out there in Cyber Space, you have a Right to Know How to Be Healthy, after the FTC successfully shuts down all sites that help you feel better and heal yourself - you will have to go back to stories - to books - to folklore - and hope for the best or let them NUKE you - mutilate you and drug you so they can get that piece of illusionary paper called MONEY... Which translates as To Control YOU...

The Following from DrDay.com

"FDA and FTC are CONTROLLED by the DRUG Companies
The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) and the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), ABANDON the American People, and instead, PROTECT the DRUG Companies! "

On August 28, 2007 I received an unsigned, anonymous, form letter from the FTC threatening to fine me $11,000.00 (per violation) if I did not remove from by website some perceived (by them), but completely unspecified, apparent violations of some FDA laws. The FTC refused to tell me what the violations might be. Instead, they forwarded the laws to me by e-mail, suggesting that I figure it out for myself.

It took quite a bit of time to figure out what was really going on.

Here is what they apparently are objecting to.

The FDA and FTC state that it is LEGAL for DRUG Companies to advertise known harmful DRUGS, drugs that have been documented to kill and maim patients, as “SAFE and EFFECTIVE” for the prevention and treatment of disease.

But the FDA – and the other puppets for the Pharmaceutical Industry - your Senators and Congressmen - have now made it ILLEGAL for anyone to sell natural, wholesome FOOD, if one claims eating GOOD FOOD can help in the prevention and treatment of disease.

The FDA and FTC say that we are “allowed” to say that good food can “promote” or “maintain” health, but we are NOT allowed to say that good food can “prevent disease.” That last statement has now been declared ILLEGAL – it is “against the law.”

Yet Webster’s dictionary DEFINES “Health” as the “Freedom from Disease.” So if a food “helps maintain HEALTH”, by definition – it helps PREVENT disease. THAT is truth!

But the FDA and FTC now say that such a claim is against the law. They have declared it against the law to TELL TRUTH!

Obviously, the goal of both the FDA and the FTC is to PROTECT the obscene profits of the Pharmaceutical companies, at the expense of the health of all Americans.

Posted below are the following:

1. The FTC’s anonymous, form letter sent to me

2. My response to the FTC

3. The information previously posted on my website with the links to ALL the medical journal documentation for the claims I have made, showing that it is TRUE – even though the FDA has now declared this TRUTH to be ILLEGAL.

RE: Health Claims on Your Website for Cancer Cures and Treatment Products

DATE: August 28, 2007

Deceptive Advertising Claims are Illegal

The staff of the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) recently reviewed your website. We are sending you this letter to remind you of your obligations under the law. The FTC protects consumers from unfair or deceptive advertising or marketing practices that raise health or safety concerns.

The FTC Act prohibits deceptive advertising in any medium, including the Internet. Under the FTC Act, advertising claims for products and services must be truthful and not misleading. Health-related claims, like those made about cancer on your website, must be supported by competent and reliable scientific evidence – the kind of evidence scientists who are experts in the field would rely on. It is against the law to make health claims without scientific support, to exaggerate the benefits of products or services, or to misstate the level of scientific support you have for your claims. Please note that consumer testimonials are not proof that your product works. If you make a health claim through a consumer testimonial, you must have competent and reliable scientific evidence that your product will have the same benefit for other users.

If your website makes express claims (literally made in the ad) or claims by implication (made indirectly or by inference) about the benefits of any cancer-related products or services that are not substantiated by competent and reliable scientific evidence, or are otherwise deceptive or fraudulent, you must stop making those claims immediately.

http://www.ftc.gov/opa/2001/06/cureall.htmhttp://www.ftc.gov/opa/2001/07/chrisenter.htmhttp://www.ftc.gov.opa/2001/07/chrisenter.htmhttp://www.ftc.gov/opa/2001/07/westbot.htmIf your website contains any untruthful or unsubstantiated claims, you could face law enforcement action.

That could mean:

1. A federal court injunction. Violations of court orders could result in civil penalties or criminal prosecution.

2. An order to pay consumer refunds.

3. Administrative orders with fines up to $11,000 per violation.

We urge you to review all cancer-related claims on your website. If you don’t have competent and reliable scientific evidence to support the claims, please change them immediately or remove them altogether.

FTC investigators have saved your website and will be revisiting it soon. Within 10 business days, please send an email to cancer@ftc.gov < href="mailto:cureall@ftc.gov">cureall@ftc.gov > describing the actions you’ve taken or plan to take to address these concerns.

To ensure that your website complies with the FTC Act, we suggest reviewing the following guidance from the FTC:

1. Dietary Supplements: An Advertising Guide for Industry www.ftc.gov/bcp/conline/pubs/buspubs/dietsupp.htm http://www.ftc.gov/bcp/conline/pubs/buspubs/dietsupp.htm/

2. Frequently Asked Advertising Questions: A Guide for Small Business www.ftc.gov/bcp/conline/pubs/buspubs/ad-faqs.htm

3. Advertising and Marketing on the Internet: The Rules of the Road at www.ftc.gov/bcp/conline/pubs/buspubs/ruleroad.htm

Please remember that you are responsible for complying with laws enforced by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) in addition to laws enforced by the FTC. The Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act (FDCA) defines a drug, in part, as an article intended for use in the diagnosis, cure, mitigation, treatment, or prevention of a disease, or to affect the structure or any function of the body.

1 Drugs that are not generally recognized by qualified, scientific experts as safe and effective for the uses recommended or suggested in their labeling are considered to be new drugs.

2 It is illegal to market a new drug in the U.S. without obtaining prior FDA approval.3 Violations of the FDCA may result in seizure of illegal products and an injunction against the manufacturers and distributors. We have contacted the FDA about claims on your website. Remember, too, that unfair or deceptive acts or practices also are illegal under many state laws. The standards under those laws may be different from the FTC Act.

If you are not located in the United States, we have referred the claims on your website to the consumer protection enforcement agency that has jurisdiction in your locale.

We look forward to hearing from you.

From: Lorraine Day, M.D. www.drday.com (askdrday@earthlink.net)

Re: Your e-mail to me of August 28, 2007

Date: September 10, 2007

I am responding to your e-mail of August 28, 2007.

In the “Re: line of your letter to me you refer to “Health Claims on Your Website for Cancer Cures and Treatments Products.” This is completely inaccurate and a perversion of the truth. I make NO claims, nor do I even imply, that the whole foods sold on my website “Cure Cancer” and I am incensed that you would suggest such a thing.

It is absolutely TRUE that the better one eats and lives – the healthier he will be and the less disease he will have. That is not only well documented in the medical literature, it is common sense - something that is woefully lacking in the medical/industrial/governmental complex today.

Your e-mail is obviously a form letter, unsigned, faceless and nameless, without even the courtesy or courage of a human signature. And your e-mail contained no indication of what, on my website, you perceive as a problem. You’re really suggesting that it is up to me to figure out what you are thinking.

However, near the end of your letter you make passing mention of the FDA so I am assuming that you are the “Hit Squad” Enforcers for the FDA - against anyone who has the audacity to tell truth - against anyone who has the audacity to promote GOOD FOOD (and the other things that promote a healthy, disease-free body, including exercise, fresh air, pure water, sunlight, restful sleep, handling stress, etc.) rather than Dangerous DRUGS to “maintain health.”

I have just become aware that the FDA has extended it’s “long arm of the law” to include the advertising of healthy FOOD in its jurisdiction, apparently in an attempt to make sure NO American will be allowed to know that “Good Food is Good For You.”

George Orwell’s “1984” Newspeak has truly arrived!

The FDA has agreed that Pharmaceutical companies, the real masters of the FDA, can spend billions of dollars advertising the Lie that “DRUGS will prevent disease,” but the FDA, with the complicity of the FTC, has now made it illegal to say that healthy food will help prevent disease.

Truth has become illegal!

What a sad day for America. We are rapidly tumbling back into the Dark Ages!

When a governmental agency restricts the public’s access to information about the ability of healthy eating to help prevent disease, that agency is PROMOTING disease with all its misery – and, of course, the “need” for MORE DRUGS – which apparently is exactly what the government and the Pharmaceutical companies want.

Drugs DO NOT prevent – OR cure - disease, no matter how much the FDA deludes itself into thinking so. Drugs CAUSE disease! Just look at the overwhelming evidence of the thousands of harmful, disease-producing, side effects of the drugs listed in the PDR (Physician’s Desk Reference). That’s why the doctors must add drug after drug to a patient’s regimen - to cover up the side effects caused by the previous drugs already prescribed. And that’s what the Pharmaceutical companies love – more drugs – and more obscene profits.

With adverse reactions from Doctor-prescribed Pharmaceutical Drugs being the FOURTH LEADING CAUSE OF DEATH in America, and with the eating habits of Americans being some of the worst in the world, if the FDA were truly interested in “Consumer Protection” it would want to protect the health of the people by promoting the well-documented medical evidence linking a healthy diet with the Prevention AND Reversal of disease.

But instead, the FDA has chosen to suppress this information on health and life and instead chooses to promote Drugs, Disease, and Death.

What is the result of this drug orgy? MORE disease! The FDA was originally set up to police and control these Pharmaceutical companies, but instead, the FDA has become putty in their hands and the Pharmaceutical companies now control the FDA. How shameful that is.

Drugs, such as those for high blood pressure, diabetes, supposed autoimmune diseases, Parkinson’s, ALS, and virtually all other drugs, never cure ANY disease, they only cover up the symptoms of the disease while the disease itself continues to progress. That is why we doctors are taught in our medical training to tell patients that they will have to be on the drugs for the rest of their life – precisely BECAUSE drugs DON’T cure the disease. Yet the FDA condones the promotion of DRUGS, with their numerous and often life-threatening side effects.

According to the FDA, promoting harmful DRUGS to prevent and treat disease is commendable, but promoting a healthy diet and lifestyle for the same purpose is illegal! That’s a dictum straight from hell!

If healthy food helps “maintain” health, the only way it can do that is by preventing disease!

Health – by definition – means freedom from disease! Check it out in Webster’s New World Dictionary. So if food maintains health, it MUST – by definition - prevent disease! But the FDA has now made this kind of rational thinking illegal.

It doesn’t take a genius to figure out that the only place the body has to get the raw materials to make new cells is by what a person puts in his mouth. If one puts highly nutritious, natural, wholesome food in his mouth, drinks plenty of pure water, and lives a healthy lifestyle, the body can make healthy cells and the function of the immune system is improved so it (the immune system) can do its job to maintain health – and by definition - prevent disease, a truth that the FDA wants to deny and destroy.

But if a person eats junk food, processed food, and a diet full of animal products with little or no fruits, grains, and vegetables, and doesn’t follow a healthy lifestyle, EVERYONE in medicine knows that person WILL get sick, sooner or later. Why is the FDA trying to bury that truth? Why is the FDA attempting to impose Talmudic control over every detail of everyone’s life?

The answer is simple – it is to satisfy the voracious greed of the Pharmaceutical companies who control them – it is NOT to protect the health of the public.

If eating a rotten diet of junk food and processed food that is low in nutrients helps cause disease, a fact that EVERY doctor will admit, then WHY is it forbidden to say that eating a diet of healthy food will help prevent disease?

Has everyone gone mad? Can no one think rationally anymore? Do the Pharmaceutical companies control everyone?

There are no unfair or deceptive claims on my website. And just for the record, I do not now, nor have I ever, said – or even implied - that Beta Beet or any of the other foods advertised on my website cure cancer or any other disease. EVERYTHING on my website is the TRUTH and is supported by documentation from the finest peer-reviewed medical journals.

But the FDA has now made it ILLEGAL TO TELL THE TRUTH!

To satisfy the shameless perversity of the FDA, I am removing the portion of the sentence on the BetaBeet page on my website that refers to decreasing one’s risk of arteriosclerosis by lowering levels of the amino acid homocysteine by the nutrients that happen to be in beets – and many other wholesome foods. That truthful and well-documented statement has been on my website for several years. And it has not only been TRUTHFUL, but it has been LEGAL.

But now, with one fell swoop, the FDA has passed a law making that TRUTH illegal.

But that statement is still TRUE, even though the FDA demands, by their draconian, Unconstitutional Talmudic law, that I remove that truth.

The nutrients in Beets, indeed, DO lower homocysteine levels and thereby DO decrease the risk of arteriosclerosis (see the evidence below), as is documented by numerous medical journal articles, even though the FDA has now criminalized this truth.

The saddest part is that those at ALL levels in the FDA and FTC, and their annoying gadfly, Stephen Barrett, who participate in the ruthless crushing of truthful information on natural healing, will themselves, fall into such darkness that when they or their family become ill, they will not be able to understand how to get well and will have no where to turn but to the horribly painful, and totally useless, exploits of the drug or scalpel doctors who know nothing about true healing.

My only comment is that author Ayn Rand had it right. Here are a few of her quotes:

“The only power any government has is the power to crack down on criminals. Well, when there aren't enough criminals, one makes them. One declares so many things to be a crime that it becomes impossible for men to live without breaking laws.”

“A government is the most dangerous threat to man's rights: it holds a legal monopoly on the use of physical force against legally disarmed victims.”

“Government ‘help’ to business is just as disastrous as government persecution... the only way a government can be of service to national prosperity is by keeping its hands off.”

“We are fast approaching the stage of the ultimate inversion: the stage where the government is free to do anything it pleases, while the citizens may act only by permission; which is the stage of the darkest periods of human history, the stage of rule by brute force.”

Included with this e-mail is the documentation from the finest medical journals (just click on the links below) for everything I have previously had on the BetaBeet section of my website, a phrase of which has now been removed because of its unconstitutional “criminalization” by the FDA.

When a government passes laws to suppress truth, the citizens, including those who help enforce those laws, become slaves!

Yours truly,

Lorraine Day, M.D."
