the Niacin Flush

Niacin, the Niacin Flush grabs the garbage in your blood and takes it out of your body. Niacin also gets blood to the places its needed and in a hurry. Niacin is a powerful way to flush out radiation.

Niacin and the Capillaries
Niacin has the property of causing the small blood vessels to increase in size. These are the capillaries. Capillaries are often so small that the blood cells pass through them in single file. It is the capillaries that take care of the vast majority of all the cells in the body.
most of the toxins in the body are stored in fat cells. These fat cells can hold on to toxins for years, never letting it go until some "event" (like sweating or exercise). Then, the fat cells give up their toxins and they start leaking out into the surrounding tissues. You can have a slow-leak batch of fat cells that are poisoning you constantly. Much of the disease that plagues mankind certainly comes from the constant slow leak of toxins from these fat cells.
These fat cells, like the millions of others, are all within a fraction of an inch of some capillary, but IF that capillary is clogged (as most often they are), and if the blood cells move through them only one cell at a time (single file), then you can see that there is not much chance for those toxins to be cleaned up by the flow of blood.

If you could find something that would increase the size of these capillaries, and not cause any harmful or adverse reaction, you can see how beneficial this would be.

In fact, niacin does this -- it causes these miles of tiny capillaries to increase in size.
It is the INCREASE in size, partly, which causes your skin to get red.

Niacin and Cancer

Niacin deficiency and cancer in women
E. L. Jacobson
Dept. of Clinical Sciences, Markey Cancer Center, University of Kentucky, Lexington 40536-0080.

A new interest in the relationship between niacin and cancer has evolved from the discovery that the principal form of this vitamin, NAD, is consumed as a substrate in ADP-ribose transfer reactions. Poly(ADP-ribose) polymerase, an enzyme activated by DNA strand breaks, is the ADP-ribosyltransferase of greatest interest with regard to effects on the niacin status of cells since its Km for NAD is high, and its activity can deplete NAD. Studies of the consequences of DNA damage in cultured mouse and human cells as a function of niacin status have supported the hypothesis that niacin may be a protective factor that limits carcinogenic events. To test this hypothesis in humans, we used a biochemical method based on the observation that as niacin nutriture decreases, NAD readily declines and NADP remains relatively constant. This has been demonstrated in both fibroblasts and in whole blood from humans. Thus, we use "niacin number," (NAD/NAD+NADP) x 100% from whole blood, as a measure of niacin status. Healthy control subjects showed a mean niacin number of 62.8 +/- 3.0 compared to 64.0 for individuals on a niacin-controlled diet. Analyses of women in the Malmo Diet and Cancer Study showed a mean niacin number of 60.4 with a range of 44 to 75. The distribution of niacin status in this population was nongaussian, with an unpredictably large number of individuals having low values.

Niacin in its niacinamide form may have antioxidant activity. Niacin deficiency may cause DNA damage. Niacin also regulates the p53 gene
, which protects against DNA damage and stops normal cells from becoming cancer cells.

Niacin and Cancer

Cancer and Niacin Study,

Studies of cultured cells (in vitro) provide evidence that NAD content influences the cellular response to DNA damage, an important risk factor in cancer development. Cellular NAD is consumed in the synthesis of ADP-ribose polymers, which play a role in DNA repair, and cyclic ADP-ribose may also mediate cell-signaling pathways important in cancer prevention (11). Additionally, cellular depletion of NAD has been found to decrease levels of the tumor suppressor protein, p53, in human breast, skin, and lung cells (10). Neither the cellular NAD content nor the dietary intake of NAD precursors (niacin and tryptophan) necessary for optimizing protective responses following DNA damage has been determined, but both are likely to be higher than that required for the prevention of pellagra. Niacin deficiency was found to decrease bone marrow NAD and poly-ADP-ribose levels and increase the risk of chemically induced leukemia (12). Moreover, one study reported that niacin supplementation decreased the risk of ultraviolet light-induced skin cancers in mice (13). However, little is known regarding cellular NAD levels and the prevention of DNA damage or cancer in humans. One study in two healthy individuals involved elevating NAD levels in blood lymphocytes by supplementation with 100 mg/day nicotinic acid/day for eight weeks. Compared to non-supplemented individuals, the supplemented individuals had reduced DNA strand breaks in lymphocytes exposed to free radicals in a test tube assay (14). More recently, nicotinic acid supplementation of up to 100 mg/day in 21 healthy smokers failed to provide any evidence of a decrease in cigarette smoke-induced genetic damage in blood lymphocytes compared to placebo (15).

Generally, relationships between dietary factors and cancer are established first in epidemiological studies and followed up by basic cancer research at the cellular level. In the case of niacin, research on biochemical and cellular aspects of DNA repair has stimulated an interest in the relationship between niacin intake and cancer risk in human populations (16). Recently, a large case-control study found increased consumption of niacin, along with antioxidant nutrients, to be associated with decreased incidence of oral (mouth), pharyngeal (throat), and esophageal cancers in northern Italy and Switzerland (17, 18). An increase in niacin intake of 6.2 mg was associated with about a 40% decrease in cases of cancers of the mouth and throat, while a 5.2 mg increase in niacin intake was associated with a similar decrease in cases of esophageal cancer.

Niacin and Cancer

Niacin, vitamin B-3 has anti-cancer properties and is Extremely helpful in curing cancer. Niacin is one more element for you to explore on your road to a healthier you. Again, I am not attempting to give you medical advice, I am a researcher helping point you in a direction to research and consider.

Niacin is said to counteract the effects of Radiation, Chemicals and Carcinogenic Factors.

Some studies suggest that Niacin is Extremely helpful in Preventing Cancer.

Niacin enhances blood flow.

Some doctors have implemented Niacin into special diets for treating Cancer, these studies indicate that niacin was used in doses of 50 mg 8 to 10 times per day.

Niacin Shows Positive Results in Cancer Research

Current research suggests niacin, or vitamin B3, may play a key role in cancer prevention through its activities in cellular repair. Leading scientists involved in niacin nutrition believe the vitamin shows promise in treating and even preventing cancer.

Myron K. Jacobson, Ph.D., and Elaine Jacobson, Ph.D., researchers at the Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine, Fort Worth, have demonstrated that cells depleted of niacin develop cancer ten times faster than those having sufficient amounts of the vitamin. Diet is a major risk factor, with both beneficial and detrimental components, and niacin is one of the beneficial components, according to the Jacobson. Although the Recommended Dietary Allowance (RDA) for the vitamin is 20 milligrams (mg), the optimal amount of niacin in the diet still is undertermined, they said.

Niacin is a water-soluble vitamin, which is also known as nicotinic acid or vitamin B3.
Vitamin B-3 is made in the body from the amino acid tryptophan.

Niacin is Extremely Helpful in Preventing Cancer.

Folks, remember it is Awesome to incorporate anti-cancer foods, vitamins, and minerals into your diet. However, you don’t want to be radical about it or live in fear. If you have ANY pain in your body, its time to get alkaline in and get toxins out. Move around, get Sunlight, and Don’t Fear Cancer.
Niacin is help with Arthritis, Diabetes, Heart Health, Alcoholism, Children’s learning behaviors and much more. Check out the Links Below for More information on Niacin and Other Conditions.
